Small but mighty are the words that came to mind when I saw this piece. Gilded original frame surrounds this Swedish midcentury oil on panel. It is signed and dated (I think 1958) and the late artist (b. 1916) is a master painter. I am particularly fond of the tea towel hanging on the left of the painting, and the entire green pedestal with white vase under the yellow sconce. It’s all divine.
