Cassandra features a traditional Bakhtiari foundation of cotton warp with a wool weft taken from the herds of the producing tribes. These tribespeople are famed for their migrations over the snow-capped Zagros mountains and for their antique carpets. She is slightly wider and uneven in some places as she is a vintage rug and handwoven.

Pile: Low and her sides are uneven due to the nature of being handmade. She also does not lie completely flat in all places due to the latter as well.
