que tal my fellow earthlings!
I am attempting to roast a chicken and then i think im gunna have a think about what is the meaning of life. (unrelated to the dead chicken i will eat later. or maybe it isnt...ill have a think about that too during my contemplation period.)
anywho, here are some scents ive really been digging and now im saving up for diptyque's do son- i mean im saving up for my roth ira. #responsibleadulting
If Im honest everytime I see a peony all I want to do is take a bite out of it and i think the same goes for lavender. Also maybe now should be the time to mention I used to eat petunias as a kid. i wish any of that was hyperbole.
anyway, just about 45 mins south of london is a beautiful organic (SAFE WORD) lavender field and it makes me happy as a button. or whatever.
here i am running through fields of flowers over and over again and i effing loved every second of it.
There is no better way to spend sunday mornings than by dragging bae out of bed at 8am to get to columbia flower mrkt by 830. (aka bae is a saint.)
super side note- i recently found out that bae is an acronym for 'before anyone else' and i really like that. calling bae 'bae' began as a joke (short for babe bc babe is too long OR SO I THOUGHT) and now it makes me get a little teeny surge of teary eyes- ahem, i mean its like whatever.
so columbia flower market- here is the deal. in may- get there at 8/830am to get your pick of peonies. all other times of the year- get there at 3pm for killer bargains on cacti and house plants. I highly recommend avoiding going between 10-2...too crowded and not fun.
I love flower markets. I love flowers. I love london.
Guys have you ever done yoga after one glass of wine? Me neither I was just asking for a friend.
Anyway, here I am standing in front of some white walls.
