Hiyaaaa Cuties!! Wooooooo almost 38 weeks!! Hospital bag is packed, stroller is here, crib is assembled, push presents are organized (tehe, not a priority but I love an excuse to procure meaningful forever pieces...cannot wait to tell you what they are!) and baby's first few months of clothing are washed. I am feeling a bit more put together now after about 37 weeks of anxiety that I wasn't "doing enough". (Will that ever go away???)
I have to also come clean here because its surreal looking at myself not in loungewear (which I am currently in whilst writing this) so I just hope that no one, including myself, forgets that 90% of my pregnancy has been spent horizontally and not feeling or looking great. Amidst a personally hard pregnancy, I justtttt barely was able to take most of these pictures the past few months, and usually included meltdowns from me and 2 hour naps afterwards. But I did it because I never wanted to forget my first pregnancy (while maybeeeee sprinkling it with a little bit of pixie dust without loungewear haha) and see how I was able to style myself that 10% of the time I felt ok, while also hopefully providing some inspo for fellow moms-to-be. So basically what I am trying to say is that please take these with a grain of salt and know that most all of IGs and blog posts are uploaded in PJs ;)
I mentioned how I have found a lot of success in non-maternity ribbed or knitted dresses this winter in my last winter whites post and this little rainbow number from Zara was no exception. (Is it just me or is Zara finally starting to step up their game after, well, blowing it for the last 3 years? Happy to see they are making themselves relevant again.) But the thing I want to talk about is this soft purple bag from Boden...I died when I saw it at press day in Fall and it had been on my mind ever since. With the exception of Beaux Baskets, I solely use cross body bags and I was over the moon to find a simple, clean, and non-navy/brown/black every day purse. It is soooooo pretty in real life cuties, I can't even tell you. I have started using it nonstop this week, to prep for spring bc life is so much richer when you embrace the value that the ornamental can bring.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend cuties! I just heard that byChloe is at Covent Garden so I really want to check that out....
In case you missed my Beaux Pregnancy Portraits by my hubby, or my letter to Little One...would love to see you there. It's been really lovely to share my pregnancy journey with you, and it has definitely helped me feel less alone. 😘 😘 😘
