What has two thumbs, speaks limited french, and hasn't cried once today? THIS MOI (#lizlemon, my hero)
Hi guys. Skincare. What a concept.
I have an idealistic philosophy where I'd love to only use products on my body that I could also eat. It's intense bc what I put on my body is absorbed into my bloodstream, etc etc. Anyway- I try to eat organic, whole food as much I can even though I flippin' love kit kats and same goes for my skin (aka I still love tom ford).
I am really interested in healing and reducing inflammation both inside and outside...basically that is a bunch of hippiedippy blahblah that means I love to simplify. Minimalize.
In my experience, a lot of skin issues are healed by The Omnipotent: raw, cold pressed, organic coconut oil. I don't think we actually need the 20million product routine in the morning. I think that's industry but not necessary. In the last year however, a lot of eco-chic, organic, and nontoxic lines have begun to pop up.
And while nothing in life can or ever will be perfect, here are a few lines/products that I am excited about.
ps that stool is my favorite custom-made piece from my favesie Ayla Furniture
Above is a staple from my favorite organic makeup line: Ilia and this beauty balm is what I put on my face everyday. Tinted and simple. Then I spritz the coconut water after Ive applied my makeup to set everything.
These two are my fave nourishing botanical moisturizers. Trust me, they're great.
Natural Cleansers...packing as much moisture as you can get.
Shower items: Clean Beauty Co may be at the top of my beauty list right now. Five ingredients or less in every product, this is the stuff you could eat. This is my hair oil. Linne makes beautiful botanical organics as well...love this charcoal body wash. Both are preservative free.
